Terms of Use

Last updated 1 August 2026

These terms govern your use of www.varnaya.com and any Varnaya service you access through it, including GyanBot. By using the site or the service, you agree to them.

1. The agreement

This is an agreement between you and Varnaya Technologies LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in India. If you are using the service on behalf of a school or organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

2. Accounts and children

  • GyanBot accounts must be created by an adult — a parent, guardian or an authorised representative of a school.
  • The account holder is responsible for the learner profiles created under the account and for keeping login credentials confidential.
  • You must give accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
  • We may suspend an account we reasonably believe is being misused or is putting a child at risk.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for anything unlawful, harmful or abusive.
  • Attempt to access accounts, data or systems you are not authorised to access.
  • Scrape, copy or redistribute our content, question banks or teaching material without written permission.
  • Reverse engineer the service or use it to build a competing product.
  • Interfere with the operation of the service, including through automated or excessive requests.

4. Educational nature of the service

GyanBot is a learning aid. It supplements teaching; it does not replace a teacher, a school, or a qualified professional. AI-generated explanations can occasionally be incomplete or incorrect, and we encourage parents and teachers to stay involved in a child’s learning.

We make no guarantee of any particular academic result, grade or examination outcome.

5. Intellectual property

All content, software, branding and material on www.varnaya.com and within GyanBot — including the Varnaya and GyanBot names and logos — belong to Varnaya Technologies LLP or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended personal or educational purpose.

Content you submit remains yours. You grant us the licence needed to operate the service, such as processing an answer to give feedback on it.

6. Fees

Where a paid plan applies, pricing, billing cycle and refund terms are set out at the point of purchase. Early-access and pilot periods may be provided free of charge and may be modified or ended with reasonable notice.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the service available and reliable but do not warrant uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance, change features, or discontinue parts of the service, giving reasonable notice where the change is material.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Varnaya is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these terms, or where required by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Surat, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
